Founded by Khomotšo Malete-Mashalane, a global humanitarian and ambassador for multiple international non-profit organisations, the initiative was established in response to a critical and persistent gap in rural water access. Through her global advocacy work, she witnessed firsthand how the lack of clean water continues to affect dignity, health, education, and economic opportunity in marginalized communities.
